Terms of service
Last updated 6 November 2026
These terms apply when you install and use Appify by Connect (“Appify”), a Shopify app made by Connect Network (“we”, “us”). By installing Appify you agree to them. You also remain bound by Shopify’s own terms for apps and for your store.
What Appify does
Appify lets you design an iOS and Android shopping app for your Shopify store, preview it, publish it, and send push notifications. Appify works as a Shopify sales channel: your app shows the products you publish to the Appify channel, and every order goes through Shopify checkout.
Plans, trials and billing
- The Free plan lets you build and preview your app. Live apps and paid features need a paid plan.
- Paid plans are billed monthly by Shopify on your Shopify invoice. Paid plans include a 14-day free trial.
- We never take a commission or percentage of your sales.
- Your price stays the same for as long as your subscription stays active. If we change a plan’s price, the new price applies only to new subscriptions.
- You can change or cancel your plan at any time from the Plans page, or by uninstalling Appify. Cancelling stops future charges. Charges already billed are refunded only where Shopify’s billing rules or the law require it.
- If you move to a lower paid plan, features of the higher plan stop working in your live app. If your paid plan ends, your live app stops loading your store until you choose a paid plan again. Your designs stay saved either way.
Your apps and developer accounts
- Your apps are published under your own Apple and Google developer accounts. You are responsible for those accounts, their fees, and for following Apple’s and Google’s rules.
- Apple and Google decide whether to approve your app and how long review takes. We can’t guarantee approval or timing, except where a plan says otherwise.
- On the Pro plan, we submit your apps for you inside your accounts. You give us the access needed for that, and you can remove it at any time.
Your content and your customers
- You keep all rights to your store content, products, images and designs. You give us permission to use them only to provide Appify to you.
- You are responsible for what your app shows and the notifications you send, and for having the right to use that content.
- You must have a privacy policy for your customers that covers your app, and send push notifications only in line with the law and your customers’ choices.
- Don’t use Appify for anything illegal, harmful or deceptive, or in a way that breaks Shopify’s, Apple’s or Google’s rules.
Personal information
How we handle merchant and shopper information is described in our privacy policy.
Service and support
We work to keep Appify available and secure, but we can’t promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may improve or change features over time; if a change removes something your plan includes, we will tell you in the app first. For help, email info@connect-network.org.
Ending your use of Appify
You can stop using Appify at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or end your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms. When Appify is uninstalled, your data is deleted as described in the privacy policy. Your published apps stay in your developer accounts, but they stop loading your store once Appify is removed.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, Appify is provided “as is”, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost sales or profits. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for Appify in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms, we will update the date above and, for significant changes, tell you in the app before they take effect. Continuing to use Appify after that means you accept the new terms.
